Attendance Policy
Your continued presence and active participation are essential for the success of Triad NetWorks. You may send a replacement to represent you and your business without loss of attendance. However, each member is advised not to abuse this privilege of replacement by (a.) sending in their place, a replacement for three consecutive meetings, or (b.) sending several different people to act as a replacement and thereby interrupt any quality or continuity a member may either give or receive, and (c.) a maximum of six substitutes per year are allowed.
More than eight meetings missed during a calendar year constitutes a loss of membership and a renewal fee of $60.00 will be charged to continue membership. This fee will be charged and must be paid upon a member having their ninth absence. Upon payment of this renewal fee, the member will be re-admitted and placed on probation for the remainder of the calendar year, with an allowance of only four additional absences for the remainder of the calendar year. This equates to a total of thirteen absences allowed for the year (ie., roughly 25% of scheduled meetings missed). Upon the thirteenth absence, the member will forfeit their seat in the group. The affected member may reapply for membership, contingent upon their seat (category) being available after one complete quarter of being out of the group. For clarification, the quarters are defined as January 1 March 30, April 1 June 30, July 1 September 30 and October 1 December 31. A new member initiation fee of $ 75 will be due upon re-admittance to the group. Please note all of your absences.
Program Procedure
All weekly meetings will start promptly at 7:15 am at the selected meeting site on Wednesday or until otherwise notified of any changes in this policy. Regular weekly meetings of Triad Networks will be waived for the following four periods:
- The week of July 4th
- Thanksgiving
- Christmas
- New Year’s
At the beginning of each meeting each member will give a “30 second commercial” stating name, company affiliation, location, responsibilities, and any lead information they desire.
Meeting announcements are presented by the elected chairperson or vice chairperson.
Two ten minute presentations are given by predetermined speakers selected from the membership list on a specific rotating basis. Questions can be asked of each speaking participant following their presentation by the membership. Such presentations are to be informative about the speaker and his or her business and not directed at specific sales efforts leading to membership participation and/or involvement during the meeting.
Lead Forms
Lead forms will be supplied to the membership during each meeting. Members are asked to share any qualified leads they might have with other specific members or as a general lead for all members.
Copies of all leads will be retained by Triad Networks in a file for future reference as needed. Lead are 3-part forms.
A lead is a referral of someone outside of the Triad Networks membership. Leads are to be treated in confidence among the membership and to be acted upon as soon as possible with ethical standards and consideration for the fellow Triad Networks member who gave the lead.
10 Minute Presentation
The Vice-Chairperson will designate all future speakers for the 10 minute presentation at least three weeks in advance.
This is an opportunity where you can present your business interests to those members gathered in an objective view of who you are, what yo do and the business you represent. This knowledge allows the members to determine, with your expressed interest, leads that might be presented to you for future business interest and activity.
Social Functions
On a quarterly basis, the Triad Networks membership will conduct a social function for the expressed purpose of getting to know other members better on a casual basis, as well as meeting prospective members. Most social function costs will be covered by the dues/fees received during the year.
Management
The Triad Networks members will elect a Chairperson, a Vice-Chairperson and a Secretary/Treasurer. The Chairperson and Vice-Chairperson will serve a term of six months, beginning with the first meeting in January and July. Upon completion of the Chairperson’s six month term, the Vice-Chairperson will fill the Chairperson’s position for the next six months. The Secretary/Treasurer will serve a one year term beginning with the first meeting in January.
Each weekly meeting will be conducted by the elected Chairperson and it will be his or her responsibility to start the morning program promptly at 7:15 am and conclude the meeting no later than 8:30 am. It is not the responsibility of any elected officer to see that the membership is in attendance. The officers will, however, be responsible for collecting dues and paying all outstanding costs incurred by the Triad Networks membership as well as keeping attendance and leads records. Additionally, officers will keep all attendance and lead information.
